A BOND OF LOVE

Raksha Bandhan - a bond of love between brothers and sisters was celebrated by Tagore House on 8th August under the able guidance of Principal Madam Shallu Gupta.. Special assembly was organised in which awareness speech was given by Ms Yogita emphasizing importance of Raksha Bandhan. Inter house poetical recitation competition was organised in which Harneet kaur ( class 6th)of Tagore house stood first.

Inter class bulletin board competition was also organised. Students made eye catching beautiful charts . Rakhi making activity was organised under the campaign " Har Ghar Tiranga".Students made beautiful Rakhis for the brave fearless soldiers which will be send to them through post to honor their sacrifices for the nation. "Let's decorate Rakhi cards " activity was organised for classes (6-10) in which students made beautiful Rakhi cards showcasing threads of love between siblings.

Small Rakhi tying celebration was organised in preprimary and primary wing in which sisters tied Rakhi on wrist of their brothers and exchanged gifts and sweets. Brothers promised to care and protect their sisters and shower unconditional love for them.

They danced on Rakhi songs. School Chairman Sardar Ravinder Singh Dosanjh and Principal Shallu Gupta appreciated efforts of all students and staff for Raksha Bandhan activities .They gave their best wishes to staff and students on Raksha Bandhan.
