THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

APEX INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL ORGANISES In accordance with NEP( New education policy) that encourages schools to observe 10 bagless days in a year. Apex international public school organised "Bagless day"on 30th October filled with diverse " DIWALI ACTIVITIES " designed to enhance creativity and develop artistic and creative skills among 8 students.

In celebration of Diwali festival by Nehru house under the able guidance of Principal Shallu Gupta students participated in various activities classwise like diwali paper diyas , diya and candle decoration, slogan writing. Awareness rally, diwali quiz gift wrapping, declamation,thali decoration, bandhanwar making, best out of waste. Students decorated their classes with diyas,candles lights and rangoli. Special attraction of day were " Diwali stalls" by classes 3-5 and "cooking without fire" activity by MasterChefs of senior classes. Students of 3-5 sold diwali items like diyas, candles, rangoli colors and other decoration material to students and teachers and learned the marketing skills and skill of organising the items. Master chefs made delicious mouth watering sweet dishes and gave away presentation of their recipes. "Community Diwali" was celebrated by members of student council- celebrating their bond with Community helpers. Inter house rangoli competition was organised on the theme"

Nature love " in which students made eye catching thematic rangolis spreading message of Green and safe Diwali. Chairman Sardar Ravinder Singh Dosanjh and Principal Shallu Gupta gave their best wishes to staff and students on Diwali and prayed for happiness and prosperity of all . They also appreciated the efforts of teachers and students for organising and participating in Diwali activities to uphold the cultural tradition of India.
