SHIKSHA SAPTAH CELEBRATED AT APEX INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL As per the directions of CBSE and Ministry of Education" SHIKSHA SAPTAH "was celebrated in Apex international public school Nakodar from 22 July to 28th July 2024 with active participation of students,staff and community.

DAY 1, 22nd july emphasises the importance of teaching learning material used by teachers to make teaching learning process effective. Teachers from classes used variety of teaching learning material like charts, puzzles,,story cards, thumb painting,hand painting .

DAY 2,23rd july emphasize the importance of foundational literacy and numeracy skills for children in early stages of education for their cognitive development . Activities like Book reading, newspaper reading , story telling sessions, comphrehension ,let's learn alphabets were organised to enhance reading ,writing and listening skills of students . NIPUN BHARAT pledge was taken in assembly by all staff members.

DAY 3, 24th july has been dedicated to sports activities as they are integrated part of school curriculum. This day emphasize the importance of sports and fitness from foundational stage of students.Students were provided awareness about importance of indigenous sports by sports teacher to inculcate sense of cultural pride as they are linked to our history and philosophy of generations.

DAY 4, 25th july is dedicated to to celebrate India's cultural diversity. Awareness was provided in classes( 1-5 ) about diverse culture and History of Punjab. Poster making competition for classes (6-10) on topic "unity in diversity " was also organised. Student council girls showcased folk dance-giddha depicting cultural heritage of punjab. Staff members organised "Community lunch" in which they enjoyed varied punjabi,South Indian dishes celebrating unity in diversity.

DAY 5 , 26th july is dedicated to foster skill based education for students. This day increase the awareness and interest in skill education among students and educators. Awareness about good handwash skill and table manners was provided in classes 1st and 2nd. Students of classes 4-7 learned skill of of making best out of waste material using ice cream sticks, newspaper. Art and craft exhibition was also organised in which craft material was displayed. Hair style making activity was organised for girls of classes 8-10 to impart them skill of different hair styling techniques. Cooking without fire activity was also organised for senior classes where they learn how to make different dishes effectively First aid awareness session was also provided to classes 8-10 where they learned essential first aid skills and get knowledge about basic first aid techniques like CPR, handling medical emergencies like fainting, choking,wound care, burn.

DAY 6, 26th july is dedicated to formation of eco clubs in schools to raise the awareness about importance of conserving and preserving natural resources and environment. This day focus on organising plantation drive in school under the "#plant4Mother Campaign . Tree plantation drive was organised in which various saplings were planted in school premises by staff and students for greener and safer earth . Eco clubs for Mission LIFE from various classes were formed to empower students to participate in environment friendly activities and projects.

DAY 7, 28th July is dedicated to "Vidyanjali"- program launched by ministry of education to improve quality of school education through Community involvement. This day focus on Community participation program in which Community members from various fields- education ,industry and trade provide nutritious and healthy meals and food items to economically weaker section students and other community helpers like gardeners,house maids, drivers and peons. Staff members provide fresh, nutritious and healthy meals in "Tithi Bhojan" including seasonal fruits, green leafy vegetables, pulses,millets to needy people. School Principal Ms.Shallu Gupta and Chairman s.Ravinder Singh appreciated efforts of all the students and staff for this wonderful celebrations
